It's not where I would have spent the money.

I'd have purchased or joint ventured Jindalee Resources' Lithium Clay deposit in Nevada, given what Tesla said about supporting those types of deposits inside the USA, but what do I know.

I'm not sure about Sayona, given they share some directors with the failed Altura Mining, who I was unfortunate enough to be a shareholder of, so this deal doesn't sit well with me. Altura directors are the last people I'd want to be partnering with, or investing in, at the moment.

I would have preferred to see PLL try and acquire another 100% owned project of their own, or as I suggested above, I think they could have got 90% of the Jindalee project, or even bought the entire thing, for the same price IMHO.

I'm not enthused by this partnership, or by PLL tipping $12 million into Sayona. I'm hoping the former Altura Mining directors on the Sayona board resign, but I doubt they will now.

Let's see what USA investors on the NASDAQ think of this deal tonight.

Will PLL need to raise cash to pay for their 19.9% stake in Sayona?
