Yes there's always 2 ways to look at it but his venture before Altura was not too flash either (coal in Indonesia I vaguely recall) It seems he has the opposite of the midas touch. Sad about Altura, he very nearly pulled it off but he is to blame for its demise too in a way for being heavily overgeared but hard not to be in this game. Good luck with SYA I will be very happy to see it do well.
