Hey digger, don't worry!!!!!!!!
I had mine replaced 1 year ago on June 11, and it does take time but the pain is gone by the time you leave hospital which in my case was 3 days!
Sure it is uncomfortable and gives you a wake up call if you knock it around but apart from that every day just gets better.
Look forward to walking without pain!
