Yes theoretically you are correct. However people can't help themselves. Take PLL for example, prior to the Tesla battery day announcement a shed load of stocks were brought by insiders. Yes they were censured by the regulatory authority but yet it still happened. This is just one example, there are many, many others. Im not saying its a certain indicator of success but it is something to keep in mind when assessing this stock IMO.
