Smart move by Ken. He has a lot of shares and knows that this amazing company he built is too good to fail. So why work when you can live off your shares and enjoy watching the price of lithium continue to sky rocket and stay there.
Whilst I'm sad to see him go, I'm not surprised. I think this is also a sign of strength in the company, from Ken's view.
