how can you say they paid "bugger all" and then say you'd "love to know the actual figure they paid GAM". Nonsense my friend. They could have paid 20,30,40m... maybe 5m, who knows! Was not only the ROFR/royalty, but also the Wodgina assets.
My sense is that MIN were frothing to get a foothold on our Pilgangoora asset, and knew the sale of their Mt Marion stake would take a while to come through and so went the less-traveled route.
They now have 6-12 mths to finalise sale of Mt Marion stake and come over to PLS to increase their stake here.
