With this 'new offtake' agreement freshly signed (with a jv partner no less), it makes me think of what future agreements (those coming out of contract and renewing) will be. Will they be with a min/max $ range or will Ken and co simply say, 'precedent is set, terms will be x amount of spod for y number of years at prevaling market prices'. Then they keep the bmx sales going just to benchmark. Mebee be a rolling 30/60/90 day average to smooth out spikes like some other rss suppliers.
Whatever it is, I think the worm has turned and we are now in the driver's seat for negotiations. Who knows, mebee we will even see a offtake bmx auction when available supply is coming up due to expiring contracts. Potential profits going forward, if market priced offtakes become the norm, make me a little excited.
Does anyone have an onhand list of current offtake agreements and their expiry dates?
Great job team.
