I am sure you're right that they were circling AJM before it went into receivership and had all their ducks lined up in a row. I personally and not via PLS know that they were on the brink and so did many others. opportunistic YES, Did they PLS cause the demise of AJM certainly not ..... Do I wish it had not happened to them of, course I do I don't like seeing anyone loose money.
The Bond holders are the ones that were ultimately in control, if you want to blame any one then blame them or alternatively accept they were just to leveraged and the market went south as it did for all suppliers. PLS were not that far behind them in many respects but had enough cash to see it through until the market turned.
