*PLS bought the rights from GAM for peanuts. The rub was the ROFR.
*MIN bought the ROFR from GAM and used it to disrupt our attempts to progress BOAs
*They're running a protection racket.
*This created enormous uncertainty and our SP tanked.
*Yesterday we paid off the mafia.
You're arguing that we paid the mafia too much.
I say they made us "an offer we couldn't refuse"
Now we can get on with business.
Maybe it's different in your world but in the real world, it's just business. We're just not big enough to take them on; yet.
