It will be interesting to keep an eye on the LRS shorts. I’m not convinced they will all need to be repurchased, only guessing but I assume the BEOT would have some arrangement for alternative repayment options (i.e. cash settlement equal to the takeover value).
Does anyone know more about this? Considering some ASX companies say they don’t know who is shorting them, I imagine it is the same for ASIC.
