They need to leave some good news in the dark to allow the market to speculate about how 'good' it is. I think todays announcement is an example of how PLS, just like every other company, releases announcements to purely manage the stock price. This announcement could have been released nearly two weeks ago, but they only released it when the stock price is dramatically dropping (along with the sector). I'm not saying this is bad thing, but a few on here believe announcements are only made in accordance with statutory requirements, which I think is not true.
