Just wondering the basis for you comment that SKI walked away from AUZ as BB did not support SKI taking up a shareholding as I have not heard that previously - Equity was a major plank in the non binding offtake proposal and from the shareholders point of view at the time the proposed entry price was market aligned.

Having SKI as a major shareholder would have ensured Sconi proceeded benefiting shareholders, the BOD and ultimately Australian exports - I can't imagine the FIRB would have objected to a 30% equity position by SKI.

The SKI deal would have made the BOD and BB very wealthy given their share/option holding, would have given AUZ the ability to progress to mining and benefited all shareholders in terms of AUZ's share price and future - why on earth would BB not have supported SKI as a core shareholder and for that matter why would the BOD not do so even in BB objected.
