Please excuse me all. I like what many posters have to say here but due to technical reasons I can't stay logged on to like your posts.
For those who have done their research on the Braemar region you will know there has been a lot of work going on in the background by both the SA government and private concerns to open up the entire region for all the wannabe miners there. There has been talk of desalination plants and pipelines since at least 2011. If I ever get replies from the emails I've sent regarding the status of these projects, that's if they're still even being consicered, I will let you know. There are many large scale deposits of magnetite all throughout this region. It's my belief that if someone could set up the infrastructure to benefit all potential miners in the region, we could easily have Pilbara take 2 in the SA outback. A large-scale steel mill in Broken Hill isn't a silly idea either.
