They are basically only crushing Ore for analysis at this point the crushing machinery used years ago produced the same crushed ore.
Obviously a new plant would have superior equipment especially for lithium rock which requires in Australia hardened steel as it is alot harder generally than iron ore rock.
Please correct me if I am wrong but have seen this to be the case on 2 lithium mines in Australia lithium is hard on equipment
Maybe it is softer in Africa? Could result in cheaper mining costs
