the delay IS NOT IN THE PROCESS THAT LWP IS RESPONSIBLE FOR (the proprietary stuff)... the delay is due to the thermal lining on the inside of a kiln (which a stock standard equipment you order from a supplier)...
probably the supplier has not met the specification or possibly while doing a test run the insides of the kiln got cracked or something like that... NO BIG DEAL... the first firing of the kiln is hence very important... at high temperature this can show signs of problems (and can be tested only by going through the process of ultra high heating)...
relining is again going to be a stock standard process...
