    I understand this was more a proof-of-concept production run to show that woolen products can incorporate Nullarbor yarn, but a reminder that Nullarbor-20 is only 20% tree-free fibre, so the fact that these woolen blankets are a blend of 30% Nullarbor-20 means the blanket only contains 6% of the sustainable tree-free fibre.

    I don't see this as enough of a blend % to warrant reaction from anyone in the industry who's looking for true sustainable alternatives. I also see the lack of movement from NC6 on producing higher blends as a potential issue they may have with raw materials, becoming a bottleneck in their manufacturing, something I've voiced before as a concern.

    Meanwhile private local company Uluu is progressing their own sustainable fibre program at a rapid pace, in my eyes posing a serious concern to NC6 and their snail-like progress.
