Thanks perdant for info. I do like the story here especially the go slow approach.
The key to any company is good management regardless of the industry.
Any short term issue I have here revolves around the technicals and the time of year.
When it hit .115 on the 4th, one signal indicated a level of overboughtness on the daily not seen in at least over 7 years. Other signals didn't confirm this extreme level but continue to march higher even as the extreme signal has corrected.
The weekly chart is more benign but is still elevated which is what one would expect based on price action.
The other issue I have is the time of year.
All markets are seriously elevated and have no fear which I suppose is to be expected when the markets are backstopped by the worlds central banks.
October is crash territory for US markets and if a credit event arrives then everything has a problem as liquidity dries up.
My thesis over the last few years in this horribly corrupt gold market has been to buy weakness and sell strength based mainly on technicals ( something I'm doing here) until the criminals are beaten.
We are close to that moment but we are not there yet.
