The key to any company is good management regardless of the industry.
Any short term issue I have here revolves around the technicals and the time of year.
When it hit .115 on the 4th, one signal indicated a level of overboughtness on the daily not seen in at least over 7 years. Other signals didn't confirm this extreme level but continue to march higher even as the extreme signal has corrected.
The weekly chart is more benign but is still elevated which is what one would expect based on price action.
The other issue I have is the time of year.
All markets are seriously elevated and have no fear which I suppose is to be expected when the markets are backstopped by the worlds central banks.
October is crash territory for US markets and if a credit event arrives then everything has a problem as liquidity dries up.
My thesis over the last few years in this horribly corrupt gold market has been to buy weakness and sell strength based mainly on technicals ( something I'm doing here) until the criminals are beaten.
We are close to that moment but we are not there yet.

I agree that buying weakened and selling strength has worked for POG, but all TA goes out the window if NXM strike something decent.

Could easily double overnight on the right result, even if TA looks overbought. EV is tiny, SOI low and any discovery has high value given the location and JV with SAR.

Down side is that is goes back to net cash backing.
