Fascinating to now read this thread back from start to finish. Perhaps this was the date the acquirers decided to move on the SP, push it down for quiet accumulation, and attempt to reset the price expectations of shareholders? Scary to think it was only the end of Oct when this was trading ~10% higher than the current takeover offer price, and MD Tim Spencer was out there saying: “We are now entering a very important period for the company as we determine the initial scale of the operation and progress selection of a partner/partners that are best suited to ensuring the Pioneer Dome Lithium Project is a long-term success for ESS shareholders.”
