Vultures circle troubled debt collector Pioneer Credit
Several players are circling the debt collection company Pioneer Credit, which has entered a standstill agreement with its banks.
The strong interest comes at a time that private equity firms remain eager to snap up distressed assets in the financial space.
The company told the market last week of its standstill agreement with Commonwealth Bank and Westpac.
Advisory firm Azure Capital is believed to be assessing proposals for the business, including takeovers and recapitalisations....
