Hardly any oil/gas companies are getting rewarded for good news in the current market. In most cases good news means prices are marked down. If good news is rewarded, shares appear unable to hold gains for any length of time. Thats what happens with a sector that is totally out of favour with the market. This will certainly change for the better, but don't ask me for a time line.
