That makes sense. It's not exactly what was said in the official announcement, but it makes sense. And the announcement could include what has really happened.

I will note though, that the MEND trial was a very small (24) candidate size and in Australia.
The GVHD P2 is in the USA (mostly) and is for 60 candidates, with the FDA.
Enrolments of candidates to commence before the end of this year. Planning for the trial started months ago.
