    extra wells doesn't equate to greater production if the decline in the existing wells exceeds the flow from the new wells.
    And that flow from new wells shoes a significant decline in the early- 1 to 6 - months of production especially for fracked wells .
    The frequent reference to 'type curve' is the industry term for projecting oil production - by well- based on the history of adjacent wells and the subject reservoir. The 'red queen' effect is well documented ..and studied.
