You are missing the real advantage of Recell, which is significant reduction in the size of the donor site, which also translates into less pain and faster healing of the donor site. Another more subjective (but nonetheless still very real) advantage of Recell is the superior cosmesis of the results when compared to the STSG that multiple surgeons have noted.
