I take the debt for equity swap by Cuadrilla as a big positive. They have better info than us and if they are going all in via a conversion to equity then they obviously think they will get a better return from shares than debt. And given the credit card rates they have been collecting that says something
If they did not like what they have seen from cores etc they would by holding onto their debt position...IMO
