My only issue with it is they keep referring to it as a phase 1/2. So I dont know if they plan to start a phase 2 in UTI patients. If they do then of course the previous timeline will be blown out by 1-2 years.
Or is this trial the phase1/2. If so then the plan to start the phase 3 late next year doesn't seem so unrealistic. So long as the FDA and ethics committees are happy enough with the data from this phase 1 trial to OK a phase 3.
