From their website the standard Department of Mining & Petroleum exploration license approval timeline is 65 days. 96% of these applications were approved on time in 2014 so I would think that if our application was submitted on March 29 (according to April 22 announcement) we should be receiving news of the approval any day now. Things should get very interesting on this front very soon.
