Thanks for the info, but my reason for selling is to double my exposure without pouring additional funds into IMU.
Tax loss would be just a by-product of the transaction but not the main reason behind the operation.
My understanding is that wash sale occurs when the operation's main aim is to harvest the tax losses, in such way that in the absence of the tax loss deduction ,the trade would not make any sense.
Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.
