Hi Stockcount. Had the same concerns when SIPA arrived in Uganda in 2013. I did a heap of research and read Ugandan newspapers almost daily. It has it worts, but I am satisfied that Uganda is robust enough to invest my money in. In fact I consider it a golden opportunity as thank to Idi Amin and Joseph kony, Uganda remained an exploration vacuum for many years.
The current Government is playing catch up and is keen to attract foreign investment mining and exploration. They recently introduced reforms, changed laws and taxes to make things easier in this regard.
SRI has a massive holding and a major discovery will see sipa become the Ugandan Government's poster child for the world stage.
I suggest you DYOR as there is tons of info , Google is you friend here.
