That's what happens when you raise capital to: (i) maybe pay debt, (ii) maybe fund new wells, (iii) maybe fund a new partnership, (iv) maybe have cash in the bank or (v) maybe none of the above.
Investors do not like lack of clarity or direction moving forward.... Why would anyone have participated in the capital raising under these conditions?
My two cents, this 'enterprise' is and always was a speculative punt and I would suggest to any new investors not to wishfully think anything else until further developments. If it does turn out well, you will have plenty of chances to buy on the way up.
