Repeating myself from further up the thread (or in another one) this SPP has a Shortfall Placement Facility. The $2m will be raised either from current eligible holders or from the party to that shortfall placement facility.
If I was that party and if I wanted to maximise my shortfall placement, I'd be suppressing the market price right now and till 17th November, when the SPP closes.
Meanwhile Directors are taking up their allocation.
