Just talked to BP. CHM had applied for another TH to get this shortfall placement done. ASX refused, that left only one option, email and submit offers between 2 trading days, from after close to before open. Hence the rush and the deadline. If that's correct then I have to withdraw the clown comment but think that an email to holders 1-2 days before could have sent out or it could have done from Friday to Monday.
