Unfortunately, when I reflect on what we have achieved over the last two years, ( some - not all ), have been done in a somewhat backward fashion. We should have been doing the Geophysic works for our land package before drilling or at the same time at least.
We should have firmed up areas outside the already known resource, which isn't going anywhere and can sit as inferred - no rush till PFS /DFS / mining etc. We have come full circle with 1.8moz, heaps of the money spent firming it up. Still, nothing else to turn heads and show the optionality and, importantly, the scale of our land package other than historical results and multiple Geos in the background telling me and others of the site's potential. Newcrest validates this and is the excellent kicker we need for Mt Coolon.
I'm excited the team has now looked elsewhere to firm up potential targets outside already known areas. Look at Coreshead sitting deeper and in between Lone sister and 309 deposit - it could be an excellent kicker for the co and pull together the grade and feasibility of a stand-alone project - This could be another discovery sitting deeper underground, or it could be nothing but its taken us two years to even to run the geophys works here. We never even did geophysics works pre-drilling 309, and Loane Sister...... It only takes one hole, and I believe the raise is for this.
Additional targets to the north in Bullock Creek, Hill23, and the south in Lanark, Tourmaline Hill, all have the characteristics forming of potential gold-bearing ground. Money is needed to firm up targets and to model the potential further. I wish this were done some time ago. It's easy to raise money when you have multiple possible discoveries and not drilling the same patch deemed by the market as " not exciting".
Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel the next few months into the end of the year will be positive, given what has transpired of late. WD is the only issue I have currently that needs to be resolved ASAP. It's a cash drainer costing money, which we dont have.
