Get your hand off it. I don't want to "down tick" I hold a considerable stake in IDA and not looking to buy more at this point. I hope IDA is successful and are awarded their claim in full, I feel it is deserved. Simple fact is nobody can be certain which way it will go. Magufuli is dead but his supporters are many. He was seen as a champion of the people. The saving grace for IDA was a pre-existing BIT agreement that over-ruled the new non-litigation policies.
I don't know much about Samia Suluhu Hassan other than she is from the same political party as Magufuli. I hope your assessment is right No matter the ICSID outcome I hope for the sake of the people of Tanzania that she is more than just another mouthpiece and actually shares the wealth from resources with the people.
I believe it was very astute of IDA to secure litigation funding of US$4.65M from LCM and appoint LALIVE to represent. Was great to see an uptick in share price today and I hope it keeps heading north. Merry Xmas.
