In the long-term you could be right, although all the charts look bad for the price of gold. 1-year and 5-year charts look to be in solid down-trend. 6-month chart looks like a short-term double-top with down-trend re-established. 20-year chart shows current price is still well above long-term trend line. I'd be interested to know more about the basis for your view on gold.
In any case in the short term I think it would be insane to abandon a well-defined resource, established development permits, land tenure, access agreements, and an almost-complete feasibility study in favour of a prospect that hasn't even produced a maiden resource statement.
