This is actually a pretty good result for the company. They were looking to raise $15-20 mill and got $24 mill, which would seem to suggest there is some demand from the domestic and international institutional and sophisticated investors.

They have been sold a story, that with out doubt will see them profit. Everyone else can do the same, just on the open market. Be smart, take profits.

Interesting little tidbit,

"Other key activities over the coming months include the targeted unlocking of value in our Yukon acreage via advancing negotiations with nearby resource owners for a joint development area, optimisation of historic Umiat oil field development plans, and reassessment of our Icewine acreage following the neighbouring Talitha-1 well drilled earlier this year."

Possibly some action on Yukon, eventually. Erik must have made plenty through his ELKO shares this past season.
