    You'll probably find they are trying not to repeat the errors of ODN. So ODN had to do a rights issue at 1.2cents to complete their DD. This most likely is what impacted their meteoric share-price rise. Whereas, EXM are doing it early, so they don't have to do it again and have $$ to complete their DD once they have an acquisition.

    Just a theory.
