"Is there a pump to consolidate at 4c to enable a raise higher?"
My most recent consolidation was with GXY, but even that was a couple of years ago. From memory, it's consolidated at whatever the SP was on the date listed. If this is the case, and very little on market volume going through NOR from before this week, I can't really see why such an expensive "pump" would be needed to consolidate higher? Just simply wait until dates are announced, then move the price for just that day. Job Done. Definitely more going on here. When a company can just pick up the phone and call in $200k at will........ somethings up!
Seems pretty clear that anything listed at 4 is going to get gobbled up pretty quickly. If sell volume dries up for a day or so, then watch those fives go next....
