Yes, I'm talking more broadly about these widespread telco issues - Telstra had outages recently.

In this case, it may not make any difference to voicemail, but overall I'm sure there will be similar/other telco issues where voicemail becomes critical - especially with so much panic, and so many businesses down on phone staff.

The WVM features become even more important, detecting urgency, etc.. and being able to do everything so much faster, all clearly displayed.

... instead of "to replay your message, press 1", when you can't clearly hear the phone number they've left!
and waiting to hear what number to delete, or save.
