Hard to determine what impact the Iraq situation is having? Is it Iraq, is it the state of the US economy, is the the poor US dollar, a combination?
I guess the safe bet would be to start taking some profits on some of my gold stocks, however, if this is JUST the beginning of the gold bull as some suggest, then significant profits could be lost.
I have my finger on the sell trigger but it is shaking... Maybe some call options on long dated gold producers may the go (to offset any potential gains if gold does go), but a lot of the majors are hedged. Any comments/suggestions.
