Agree re: Aussie Brokers - not a huge fan, and the incentives are not aligned with investors.
Don't mix them up with Funds though. There are some absolutely exceptional funds in Aus, with managers who are world-class, and have significant proportions of their personal wealth invested alongside unitholders.
Like direct shares though, sorting the good funds from the bad takes a lot of research, skill, and judgment. As always DYOR.
