Hi Cowboys, was in my local Coles this morning and asked a young fella if they still stock them. He checked the system and said they no longer have stock and infact the protein smoothie's have been deleted and furthermore there is no evidence of any stock on order. Not quite a definative answer given other chains also stock the protein smoothies.

I'm not quite convinced that OJC would/will generate any worthwhile sales momentum in that niche market. In my experience those who consume protein drinks generally buy it in bulk powder form and mix their own prodominently as a supplement to assist with muscle growth when training. Not sure abouI the rationale in respect to their target market, maybe some one else has more insight and can share their thoughts?
