Franky, I too have been researching the Sprott affiliates based in Toronto and have also contact Mr Rule. I'll let you know what my thoughts and outcomes are in due course.
Re Sprott advising investors to buy BGS, I don't hang my hat as he would, and does, advise on purchasing their own (Sprott's) balanced portfolio or specific fund that includes BGS. That's their business model.
