Does anyone know whether the 50% cgt discount will translate to the US? I suspect we are effectively being forced to sell up and repurchase the US stock (from a tax man / cgt perspective).
Also - I don't hold US stocks currently. Can we expect double tax from AUS and US when we eventually sell our US holdings?
