While I'm (obviously) excited that the phase 3 trial will likely commence in around 6 months time (hopefully sooner), I'm just as hopeful that the 9 months open label extension will put a rocket under the SP.
Relatives of participants in the phase 3 trial, if the previous trial is any indication, will not be permitted to post their observations through social media and other forms.
However, I'm expecting that not to be the case in the extension where all participants will be receiving trofinetide.
