PLANT OPTIMISATION STRATEGY UPDATE
The processing plant and ball mill have been test run with both stock-piled and fresh ore over the past two weeks for up to 7 hours per day with a maximum throughput of approximately 2 tonnes per hour.
In light of this level of throughput, and as previously foreshadowed, a deci


sion has been made to purchase a larger vibrating feeder, and to enlarge the feed hopper outlet, to facilitate a greater, +5tph flow of ore to the mill from the feed hopper.
The new feeder will be air-freighted to site next week and installed, with the hopper modification work currently underway and due for completion before the arrival of the feeder.
Mining and screening of feed material is continuing with material being sourced from the “Alpha West” (or main Edie Lode vein) area in recent weeks (see pictures below).
As is typical of the vein systems at Edie Creek, the main Edie Lode contains finer and lower grade gold in the upper sections, with gold grade and coarseness increasing with depth, down to the bottom of the oxidised zone.
