The FS is released using the old reserve figures. The project isn't increasing thru-put only recovery.
On completion of the upgrade, recovery moves up to 93%. So at the 1.59g/t and 93% recovery that's about 171k ozs a year production. The FS claims an improvement of 190k ozs over life of mine... Using a 7 year life of mine that's about 27k ozs per year.
Subtracting 27k ozs from 171kozs peak production expected, that gives a current base line of approx. 144k ozs per year.
Even at the higher grade of 1.74g/t production increases to only 187k ozs.
This looks more like a project that moves the company to where it needs to be to be viable, rather than a nice incremental improvement to performance.
For me I'd like to see a plan that shows when they will be able to consistently move enough high grade ore out the pit to be viable.
A good step forward, but more of a save than a goal.
