what are you talking about dude?
"Only enough for 100 acres so do they need to plant a seed crop as well ?" They planting crop outdoors with seeds they already have at this moment, which is what the whole announcement is about. If you need more seeds these can easily be obtainable, but they have enough volume in the seed bank to fill their initial cash crop quite easily.
"Why would a established firm and producer require more supplementary equipment?" If they were an established producer why would they be planting an initial cash crop, and require a cap raise with AEB? WGB has been utilized by AEB to get a foot into the MM industry, in a country that allows for the least amount of red tape in the world. WGB is still very much in an early stage, which has been disclosed a number of times, and any research would easily show this.
Which bring me to my next point which alaska spoke on. Yes Auscann are very well established (other then Canngroup, probably the most established) MM company in Australia; however their operations are located in Chile, which yes is also in South America, but Uruguay has been recognized as the most MM friendly country in the world, i mean there damn government is actually buying weed from producers in the country and on selling it to pharmacies. Also Aucann has a partnership with a company in Chile (name alludes me) called Dayacann which is their version of a collaboration agreemnt much like AEB has with WGB, we are headed in a very similar direction as Auscann we are just (literally) one growth cycle behind.
The numbers in the announcement are not made up numbers, if you DYOR and actually look you will see that the numbers seem quite reasonable and honest. While costs have not been announced, it does not take a brain surgeon to understand that if majority of the operiton is done in Uruguay the costs are going to be substantially lower then anywhere else in the world, hence why Auscann are out in Chile as well.
This thread is full of so many damn downrampers in the stock, from people that have no idea what they are talking about, every announcement that comes out is a positive step forward for AEB. While the company has had a rough run in the past, it is clear that they are attempting to turn over a new leaf with an investor relations guy on board (who mind you is apart of MMJ, a great MM company on the asx already and im sure wouldn't waste his time with something that is a load of crap). The company said they were going to collaborate with WGB, they did, the company said they were going to raise money via the rights issue they did, the company said they were going to get a cash crop in the ground they are. So far they are doing a pretty good job on delivering.
While i dont see the stock moving a whole lot until there is more evidence that the operation are up and running and in full effect, and maybe not even util the company releases an ann saying that revenue generation has began but im sure once that has begun sky is the limit.
There liquidity in the stock, the options were trading well, theres presentation out and new news on regular basis, you cant argue with that.
*Not holding personally, but have been following the company for a peer since the MM entry
