Games are a hit driven business so you can have one game generate many millions and continue that way if you do well. Do really well and it's like Fall Guys with $160M rev in first month (with drop off). Play the cards right and it's a billion dollar game a year. But again that's a hit and that are easier said than done.
But you need to own the IP to make that return and looks like PLY and others are shifting to that and hoping Animal Warfare and others start doing decent numbers while they work on the new IP.
