Potentially, however the Calix process still requires a roasting stage to convert the spodumene crystalline structure for successful digestion in Sulphuric acid to an intermediate lithium salt. Which is pretty straight forward and a terrific initiative to investigate for our spodumene fines that are otherwise delegated to waste.

Roasting lithium mica is a highly corrosive process, so that won't work. Good news is that lithium mica doesn't actually require roasting. But that is very specialised chemistry that I doubt is within the scope of Calix's field of speciality and largely patent protected elsewhere anyway.

We have a lot of very valuable lithium mica scattered throughout our tenements, that was well known before a drill even touched Mt Francisco. An Australian developed LOH-Max plant on our site would be very commercially attractive.
